We got this for each of my daughters this Valentine's Day instead of candy. I have one tom boy, classic Lego enthusiast and one pink loving Little Princess. They BOTH were super excited to get this set! My tom boy loved the new colors and she built a house right away, my princess loved the pink and made a princess and a flower garden right away. I hope Lego continues with the pink sets-they are awesome and they do not go against the classic lego style. I find the other 'girl geared' sets a bit off putting-why do they have to change the block shapes, etc. to appeal to girls? This is a much more appealing alternative-Good Job Lego!!

I got this for my boys. Their first impression was "Pink!" after two seconds they were so involved in their building projects it didn't matter what the color was. They found that the different colors added to their creative imaginations.

I ordered these for my niece (age 3) and now I realize the pieces are probably way too small for someone her age. However, she raved about them and plays with them under supervision. When I bought them, my daughter, age 9, expressed interest as well, so I ordered some for her for Christmas. She loves playing with them and I think they are adorable. I was thinking of ordering another set for my 4- and 7-year-old nieces.

It's great to find legos that don't have a specific theme, character, or way they have to be put together. The new colors here are great for my 3 1/2 year old girl. She plays with her brothers legos all the times, but these are uniquely hers.

It's about time that I found PINK legos.... i was starting to feel like Legos were not meant for girls... although that would be EXTREMELY difficult to explain to my daughter.... she absolutely loves playing with legos and now she doesn't have to fight her little brother for his anymore...
